Cowboy Bebop: The Galactic Bounty
The MUD is not open officially; however, feel free to connect and beta-play.

Welcome to Cowboy Bebop: The Galactic Bounty, a vibrant, text-based multiplayer universe where the jazz-soaked, bounty-hunting vibe of Cowboy Bebop merges with a wild multiverse of crossovers from Pokémon, Dragon Ball, real-life personalities, and beyond. Players embody interstellar bounty hunters navigating a sprawling, procedurally generated cosmos—think neon-drenched space stations, dusty Martian saloons, and wormholes spitting you into dimensions where anything goes. From chasing fugitives to battling mythical creatures, this MUD is a chaotic blend of grit, style, and absurdity.

The Big Shot Bounty System

At the heart of the game lies the Big Shot Bounty System, a galaxy-wide bounty hunt inspired by Cowboy Bebop’s iconic Big Shot TV show. Big Shot is the central hub where players receive bounty contracts and claim their rewards. The Big Shot Offices are scattered all over the galaxy.

Getting Bounties: Players access the Big Shot interface to browse bounties tailored to their skill level or preferred playstyle. Bounties range from small-time crooks (e.g., a Pokémon smuggler selling rare Mew clones on Callisto) to high-stakes galactic threats (e.g., a rogue Goku clone terrorizing a space colony with Kamehameha waves). Special Multiverse Bounties pit you against crossovers like a ninja-trained Naruto gone rogue or a Tony Stark-inspired arms dealer peddling vibranium mechs.

Completing Bounties: Track your target using clues from Big Shot’s intel. Missions might involve zero-gravity shootouts, stealthy infiltrations of fortified lairs, or Pokémon-style battles against a target’s trained creatures (imagine facing a Charizard in a Venusian volcano).

Receiving Rewards: Once a bounty is captured (dead or alive, depending on the contract), return to the Big Shot Agent who gave you the contract to claim your reward. Rewards are paid in Woolong Tokens, the game’s universal currency, with amounts scaling based on bounty difficulty and completion speed.

Tokens can be spent to:
Upgrade skills
Unlock bonuses
Customize ships with Bebop - inspired aesthetics or high - tech weaponry.
Buy cybernetic implants, Pokémon - like companions, or rare items like a Dragon Ball - style sensu bean for instant health recovery.
And much much more….

A Universe of Chaos and Growth

Beyond bounties, the MUD’s multiverse throws players into a blender of Cowboy Bebop’s cool cynicism and absurd crossovers. Fighting a Bulbasaur to get to your ship, spar with Vegeta in a derelict dojo, or outwit a digitized Taylor Swift running a music piracy empire. Real-life personalities appear as quirky NPCs—imagine debating quantum physics with Einstein to unlock a weapon schematic. Player actions shape the world: successful bounties might shift planetary politics, spawn new crossover characters, or trigger events like a K-pop invasion or a Godzilla rampage.

Woolong Tokens drive progression, letting you carve your niche as a lone wolf like Spike, a team leader like Jet, or a chaotic wildcard like Faye. Form crews for cooperative hunts for world bosses, duel rivals in lawless zones, or dive into side quests like Pokémon gym battles fused with Dragon Ball tournaments. With the Big Shot Bounty System as your guide, The Galactic Bounty MUD offers a text-driven cosmos where jazz, ki blasts, and multiverse madness collide. So grab your revolver, tune into Big Shot, and see you space cowboy—or trainer, or Saiyan—in the infinite frontier.
